Privacy at a glance
This describes how the current application works. Operator contact details and the final launch policy must be completed before public launch.
Bug reports and feature ideas
When you submit feedback, your title, description, and page path are sent to our private GitHub repository so our team can review and track the request. URL query strings and fragments are removed. Do not include passwords, booking details, or other sensitive information in your report.
Account information
The service stores your account email, password hash, profile details, and preferences. Your password is not stored as plain text. Your browser stores a sign-in token.
Trips and collaboration
Public trips and profile activity can be seen by other users. Private trips are restricted to their owner, invited collaborators, and site administrators. Invited viewers can contribute ideas and votes; editors can change itineraries and the group budget.
Your notebook
Personal progress and cost estimates are saved in browser storage. When you save to your account they are stored by the API under your user ID. They are separate from the shared group budget.
Maps, photos, and searches
Displaying maps and remote photos or searching for places can send requests, including location/search terms and network information, to the relevant map, image, routing, or place provider. Review sensitive location information before sharing a trip.
Device copies
Downloaded or exported itineraries can remain on your device after you sign out. Only download private travel plans to devices you trust, and remove exports when they are no longer needed.
Your rights over your data
From Account settings you can download a copy of everything tied to your account, or permanently delete your account and its data at any time. Deleting your account removes your owned trips, saved trips, notebooks, reviews, and follows; trips you shared with collaborators remain with them, without your name attached. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
